Kalpataru Projects International Secures ₹2,025 Crore Order, Shares Rise 0.3%
Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) announced that it has secured new orders and notifications of awards across Indian and international markets totalling approximately ₹2,025 crore. The orders were classified into three different segments – Power Transmission & Distribution, Building & Factories, and Oil & Gas – underscoring the company’s diversified project portfolio.
Earlier in August, the company won another order worth ₹3,426 crore for the construction of an industrial plant and a residential building, and for the power transmission & distribution segment. Following the current win, the total order inflow for FY27 (YTD) stands at ₹13,219 crore, with more than ₹12,000 crore worth of L1 orders in the pipeline.
Shares of Kalpataru Projects International opened in green despite broader market weakness on Thursday. The optimism was largely driven by the major order win announcement earlier that day. KPIL’s share price opened 0.3% higher at ₹1,416 apiece on the NSE, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s recent contract gains.
Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO of KPIL, said, “We are pleased with these new order wins in our T&D, B&F, and Oil & Gas businesses. These diverse contract wins reflect our strong technical expertise, operational excellence, and the trust our clients place in our ability to deliver projects on time.” His remarks highlighted the firm’s confidence in sustaining growth across its core sectors.
In Q1FY27, KPIL’s revenue surged 9% YoY to ₹5,482 crore at the standalone level and rose 4% YoY to ₹6,408 crore consolidated. The consolidated EBITDA for the quarter increased 7% YoY to ₹562 crore, with a 30 basis‑point EBITDA margin expansion to 8.8%. Consolidated net profit also rose 46% YoY to ₹312 crore, underscoring the company’s strong earnings performance.
