Eternal Q2 Results: Net Profit Surges 92% to ₹125 Crore, Revenue Up 78%

Eternal reported its September quarter results on Wednesday, October 21, showing a 92.31% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹125 crore, up from ₹65 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year. Revenue from operations increased 77.62% year‑on‑year to ₹23,138 crore, compared with ₹13,590 crore a year earlier, and grew 19.43% sequentially.

Economic performance was bolstered by a 214.64% jump in EBITDA, which rose to ₹752 crore from ₹239 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. The EBITDA margin expanded to 3.12% from 1.76% in Q2 FY26, reflecting improved profitability across the business.

During the quarter, Blinkit’s quick‑commerce arm generated ₹19,152 crore in revenue, while the food ordering and delivery segment contributed ₹3,396 crore. Blinkit’s net order value grew 79.3% year‑on‑year to ₹20,940 crore, with a 22.2% quarter‑on‑quarter increase, and the company added 308 net new stores, bringing the total to 2,751.

The Going‑Out India (GOI) business reported a net order value of ₹3,259 crore, up 58.0% year‑on‑year and 1.3% quarter‑on‑quarter. Adjusted EBITDA margin improved to –2.0% of NOV from –3.1% last year, while the adjusted EBITDA loss remained flat at ₹64 crore on a quarter‑on‑quarter basis.

Deepinder Goyal, Eternal’s vice‑chairman and founder, said the company was pleased with current performance but cautioned against over‑interpreting a single quarter. He reiterated a long‑term expectation of 20%+ annual growth for food delivery, noting that recent quarters have returned to that range. As part of an internal restructuring, Eternal will consolidate the GOI business into a single wholly‑owned subsidiary, Zomato Entertainment Private Ltd (ZEPL).
