Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) announced that it has secured new engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) orders and notifications of awards for major projects totalling approximately ₹2,349 crore. The orders are confined to the Power Transmission & Distribution and Building & Factories segments within India. The company highlighted that the new contracts reinforce its position in the country’s fast‑growing infrastructure market.

The order win growth remains steady, with KPIL reaching an order inflow of ₹22,000 crore for FY27. In the second quarter of FY27, the company secured nearly ₹14,000 crore in orders, almost double the inflow recorded in the preceding quarter. Earlier this month, KPIL had already won orders for its Power T&D business in India and abroad worth more than ₹2,200 crore.

Following the announcement, KPIL shares rose 2% on Wednesday morning. The stock opened at ₹1,363, up from Monday’s close of ₹1,346, and reached an intraday high of ₹1,378 during the opening session on the NSE. In 2026, the company’s shares have delivered year‑to‑date returns of +14.7% and a trailing‑twelve‑month return of +8.7%.

MD and CEO Manish Munot said the company continues to witness robust growth across its core Transmission & Distribution and Building & Factories verticals. He added that the new contract wins solidify KPIL’s leading market position in India’s high‑potential infrastructure landscape and underscore its strong EPC capabilities and proven track record of executing world‑class projects domestically and internationally.

In the quarter ended June 2026, KPIL reported steady growth. Revenue increased 4% year‑on‑year to ₹6,408 crore, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation rose 7% year‑on‑year to ₹562 crore. Profit after tax surged 46% year‑on‑year to ₹312 crore, reflecting the company’s expanding operational efficiency and strong project pipeline.
