Core‑operations revenue for the quarter under review advanced 11.2 % to ₹73,188 crore, compared with ₹65,799 crore in the corresponding period a year earlier. This figure reflects a robust increase in the firm’s consolidated net profits, which rose 15 % year‑on‑year, driven by revenue gains and key deals secured during the period. TCS remains the largest IT services firm in India, with its financial performance underscoring the strength of its business model.
The company also disclosed that the total contract value (TCV), or the total deal value secured by the firm in a particular period, surged to $9.6 billion as of the quarter ended September 2026. AI revenue crossing the 10 % threshold is a milestone that highlights TCS’s expanding role in AI‑native solutions, AI‑led transformation of enterprise systems and autonomous global business services. The firm’s Human+AI Services Autonomy model for AMS earned top rankings from customers, underscoring the strength of its differentiated capabilities.
During the quarter, TCS announced a five‑year strategic partnership with Porsche AG, under which the company will establish a dedicated AI Mobility Centre of Excellence for Porsche to drive innovation across manufacturing, engineering, operations and customer experience. The firm also signed an agreement to transition Best Buy’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India to TCS, combining the GCC’s retail and enterprise knowledge with TCS’s technology, engineering, AI and global delivery capabilities. CEO and Managing Director K. Krithivasan described these two unique deals as a new category of transformation partnerships that will industrialise AI at scale.
Ahead of the earnings, TCS shares closed at ₹2,076 apiece on Thursday, falling 0.21 % on the National Stock Exchange. The company announced a second interim dividend of ₹12 per share for every eligible shareholder up to the predetermined record date of the corporate action.
