HCLTech narrowed its FY27 revenue growth forecast to 2.5‑4% in constant currency from an earlier 1‑4% range, citing strong bookings, a healthy deal pipeline and momentum in AI‑led services. The domestic equity market is expected to open in the green on Tuesday, October 13, with GIFT NIFTY futures suggesting that the NIFTY50 index will open 37 points higher. In the same session, 22 companies are slated to announce their September quarter earnings, including Tata Elxsi, TARIL (Transformers and Rectifiers (India)), Hero Motors, TRF, GTPL Hathway Limited, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, and Anand Rathi Share And Stock Brokers, among others. Investors will also monitor oil‑linked stocks as crude oil prices ease slightly after rising nearly $2 a barrel in the previous session. Brent crude futures fell 0.57% to $106.04 a barrel, while US WTI crude futures declined 0.5% to $93.27 a barrel.
Oil‑sensitives remain in focus as elevated crude prices could increase under‑recoveries for oil marketing companies if higher input costs are not fully passed on to consumers. Upstream oil producers such as ONGC and Oil India could benefit from higher crude prices, whereas aviation and paint companies may face cost pressures. The prospect of additional Russian diesel supplies could ease tightness in global fuel markets, while supply risks following attacks on Saudi Arabia continue to support prices. The market will watch how these dynamics affect the performance of oil‑linked equities today.
