12 2026 IPOs Surpass Issue Prices by Over 100% Amid Mixed Market Conditions

The 2026 Indian IPO market saw 12 newly listed stocks achieve gains of 100% or more from their issue prices, with returns reaching up to 201.7%. Among the top performers were ESDS Software Solutions, Omnitech Engineering, INDO-MIM, and Milky Mist Dairy Food. These companies, listed between July and September 2026, outperformed the broader market and delivered substantial post‑listing gains. The list includes niche businesses such as AI‑cloud infrastructure, precision engineering for aerospace, and high‑market‑share dairy products, all of which have shown strong earnings growth after listing.

The domestic IPO landscape in 2026 was initially muted in the first half due to high market volatility triggered by geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East and a significant FII sell‑off. Market conditions steadied in July and August, prompting companies that had delayed their public offerings to proceed. Between July and September, approximately 106 mainboard companies were listed on NSE and BSE, while more than 290 companies were listed across mainboard and SME segments. The NSE IPO was the largest in recent months, with a total issue size of ₹22,561.57 crore.

The table of stocks trading at 100% or more gain compared to their IPO issue price lists the following: ESDS Software Solution (CMP ₹1,294.3, issue price ₹429, gain 201.7%); Omnitech Engineering (CMP ₹667.5, issue price ₹227, gain 194.1%); INDO-MIM (CMP ₹1,321, issue price ₹485, gain 171.9%); SEDEMAC Mechatronics (CMP ₹3,377.7, issue price ₹1,352, gain 149.8%); Shadowfax Technologies (CMP ₹285.9, issue price ₹124, gain 130.5%); Advit Jewels (CMP ₹317.5, issue price ₹138, gain 130.1%); Xtranet Technologies (CMP ₹286.5, issue price ₹127, gain 125.5%); MV Electrosystems (CMP ₹951.9, issue price ₹425, gain 124.1%); Technocraft Ventures (CMP ₹471.5, issue price ₹212, gain 122.4%); OnEMI Technology (CMP ₹378.8, issue price ₹171, gain 121.5%); Milky Mist Dairy Food (CMP ₹307.6, issue price ₹140, gain 119.9%); and Jindal Supreme (India) (CMP ₹186.1, issue price ₹93, gain 100.1%).

Many of these companies operate in specialised segments with high entry barriers. ESDS Software Solution focuses on AI, cloud and data‑centre infrastructure; Omnitech Engineering provides precision engineering for aerospace and defence; SEDEMAC Mechatronics specialises in control electronics systems; INDO‑MIM manufactures precision components using metal injection moulding; MV Electrosystems designs and manufactures electrical and power electronics equipment; Milky Mist Dairy Food holds a high market share in packaged paneer and dominates the South India market; Xtranet Technologies offers AI‑driven digital transformation; and Shadowfax Technologies powers delivery services for e‑commerce, quick commerce and retail businesses.

Despite muted debuts—Omnitech Engineering shares fell over 9% on listing day and Shadowfax Technologies listed at ₹112.6 against an issue price of ₹124—both companies achieved over 100% returns relative to their IPO issue price. Post‑listing earnings and order‑book growth attracted investors. For example, Omnitech Engineering reported Q1FY27 revenue of ₹167 crore (61.5% YoY) and net profit of ₹30 crore (468.7% YoY); Shadowfax Technologies posted revenue of ₹1,358 crore (65% YoY) and net profit of ₹65 crore (712.5% YoY); Xtranet Technologies recorded revenue of ₹50.4 crore (10.5% YoY) and net profit of ₹6.04 crore (77.9% YoY).

While the 2026 IPO trend shows that many newly listed companies have delivered higher post‑listing gains after investors gained visibility on earnings and niche‑market opportunities, caution is advised. Some stocks have corrected after high post‑IPO returns; ESDS Software Solutions, for instance, surged to ₹1,859.2 on 24 September 2026 but has since corrected significantly. Investors are reminded that market risk applies and should conduct their own analysis and due diligence before trading or investing in these securities.
