Transrail Lighting Shares Rise 10% After Securing ₹574 Crore New Orders
Transrail Lighting Ltd announced that new orders worth more than ₹574 crore have been secured, boosting the company’s annual order intake to ₹1,609 crore. The announcement triggered a 10.26% rise in the stock, which reached an intraday high of ₹498 per equity share on the National Stock Exchange on Wednesday, September 30, up from Tuesday’s closing price of ₹451.65. The surge reflects investor confidence in the company’s expanding order book.

The new contracts cover engineering, procurement and construction of transmission lines and reconductoring projects, including the supply of high‑tension low‑loss (HTLS) conductors from Transrail’s factories and poles. An EPC contract was also awarded for building a transmission line for a very large private‑sector Indian developer. These wins reinforce the company’s core domestic Transmission & Distribution business and add to its growing order pipeline.
Randeep Narang, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said the order wins demonstrate continued confidence from marquee customers in Transrail’s engineering, manufacturing and execution capabilities in the T&D sector. He expressed particular enthusiasm for the HTLS reconductoring jobs, citing them as proof of construction excellence and an advanced product range. Narang highlighted a strong order book, healthy bidding pipeline, and increased manufacturing capacities across towers and conductors as drivers of sustainable growth.
Transrail Lighting’s market capitalisation stood at ₹6,385.22 crore as of September 30, 2026, according to NSE data.
