HCLSoftware to Acquire Croatia‑Based Robotiq.ai for 9 Million Euro

HCL Technologies’ software arm, HCLSoftware, has announced the acquisition of Croatia‑based robotic process automation provider Robotiq.ai for an enterprise value of 9 million euro. The deal, executed through HCL Technologies Austria GmbH, a wholly‑owned subsidiary, will purchase 100 % of Robotiq.ai’s outstanding equity entirely in cash. The transaction is expected to close by the end of November 2026, according to a regulatory filing.

Robotiq.ai, incorporated in Croatia in August 2018, supplies enterprise‑grade RPA capabilities to banks, insurers and telecom operators. In 2025 it reported €1.4 million revenue, up from €0.9 million in both 2023 and 2024, and a profit after tax of €0.2 million. Its net worth stood at €0.8 million as of 31 December 2025. Its platform is ISO‑certified, provides audit logs and flexible deployment options.

The acquisition will augment HCLSoftware’s agentic AI platform, HCLUnO Agentic, by adding enterprise‑grade RPA execution to its orchestration layer. HCLSoftware President Kalyan Kumar said the deal strengthens HCLUnO Agentic, enabling customers to deploy and scale agentic AI across operations with confidence. The integration will allow AI‑driven workflows to automate tasks where APIs are unavailable or insufficient.

Darko Jovisic, CEO and co‑founder of Robotiq.ai, highlighted that the company built its platform on the belief that automation should be useful, fast to deploy and reliable in production. He said joining HCLSoftware would give the technology enterprise reach, scale and a platform, enabling customers to experience automation that becomes part of an orchestrated, governed process across the entire enterprise.

The deal comes amid rising enterprise demand for AI systems that can reason and execute tasks across complex business environments. HCLSoftware’s acquisition of Robotiq.ai is positioned to meet that need by combining orchestration with execution capabilities. The transaction is fully cash‑based and is expected to be finalized by the end of November 2026, as per HCLTech’s regulatory filing.
